Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use awakeandinlove.com, emergebydesign.com, wisdomspiral.com, the High Desert Human Design pages, the Spiral app, or any page that links to these terms. They also apply when you book a session, buy a product or ticket, or join a program, event or community with me. "I," "me" and "my" mean Emerge By Design Inc., doing business as Brandy Jordan, based in New Mexico, offering work under brands that include Awake and In Love, Emerge by Design, The Spiral of Everything and High Desert Human Design. By booking, buying or registering, you agree to these terms.

What this work is

My work is educational and reflective. I teach Human Design, astrology, somatic and relational practice as frameworks for self-awareness. Sessions, courses, events and community spaces are offered for learning and personal exploration.

This work is not therapy, counseling, medical care, or legal or financial advice, and it doesn't replace any of them. I do not diagnose or treat any condition. Please keep working with your own licensed providers for your physical and mental health. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services, or call or text 988 in the United States.

You are responsible for your own choices and for how you use what we explore together. Somatic practices are invitations. Move at a pace that feels right in your body, and skip anything that doesn't.

Booking and payment

  • Offerings are paid in full when you book unless a payment plan is offered. Prices are in US dollars and shown on each page.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe or another secure processor.
  • Online sessions take place on Zoom, and the link arrives in your confirmation email. In-person sessions and events take place at the location listed on the booking or event page.
  • Please arrive on time. If you're more than 15 minutes late, a session may still end at its scheduled time.

Rescheduling, cancellations and refunds

  • Sessions. You can reschedule or cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before your session. With less than 24 hours' notice, or if you don't attend, the session fee is not refunded.
  • If I need to reschedule, I'll offer you a new time or a full refund, your choice.
  • Digital products, such as worksheets, recordings and self-paced courses, are delivered right away and are not refundable.
  • Live group sessions and workshops follow the 24-hour rule unless the offering page says otherwise.
  • Events and tickets. Each event page lists its own refund, transfer and access terms, including what's included in each ticket tier. Those terms apply to that event. If an event is canceled, ticket holders receive a full refund or a credit, their choice.
  • Memberships and subscriptions renew on the schedule shown at signup. You can cancel anytime, and cancellation takes effect at your next billing date. Past billing periods are not refunded.
  • Payment plans. If you choose a payment plan, you agree to complete the scheduled payments. Any setup or deposit fee is not refundable. If you need to stop partway, write to me and we'll work it out together.

WisdomKeepers and guest facilitators

Some offerings in my spaces are led by WisdomKeepers or guest facilitators. They run their own practices and are responsible for the sessions and services they provide. The offering page will say who is leading it. Questions about a facilitator's own sessions, pricing or refunds go to them first, and I'm glad to help if something needs support.

Community agreements

Shared spaces work when people take care of them. In groups, events and community spaces, please:

  • Keep what others share in confidence.
  • Speak from your own experience, and offer advice only when it's asked for.
  • Treat others with respect. Harassment, hate speech and unsolicited selling aren't welcome.

I may remove anyone from a group, event or community space who doesn't keep these agreements. If that happens, I'll refund any unused portion of a paid membership. Event removals follow the terms on the event page.

Recordings and materials

Teachings, recordings, worksheets and written materials are my work and are protected by copyright. They're for your personal use. Please don't copy, resell, publish or teach them as your own without my written permission. You may not record sessions, group calls or event sessions without consent.

Your content

What you share stays yours. If I'd ever like to use your words, such as a reflection or testimonial, I'll ask first and use them only with your permission.

Limits of liability

I offer this work with care, and I can't promise any particular outcome. To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim connected to my services is limited to the amount you paid for the service involved. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses. For in-person events, you're responsible for your own travel, lodging and personal belongings.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the one that applies. Changes don't affect bookings or tickets you've already paid for.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico. If a concern comes up, please write to me first. Most things can be settled with a conversation.
